80th Georgia FFA Convention 2008  The 2008 FFA Georgia Convention was held April 24-26 in Macon,Ga. Cassie Martin, Adam Sims, Whittney Matchorn, Heather Baggarly, and Andrea Sweeney represented the Putnam County FFA Chapter in Gerogia's 80th Convention. Also, Putnam County's Dariry Judging Team (Haley Faroow, Christian Crouch, Jake Holder, and Racheal King) recieved their 1st place award on Saturday. Jay White also recieved a plaque for high individual, in the Land Judging Competition. Besides Jay, others who competed in this contest were Sierra Floyd, David Watson, Andrea Sweeney, and Megan Cooper. Congratulations to Jay White for recieving High Individual Award at the State Land Judging Competition!  Although Jay White did not attend the Georgia State Convention, we are all very proud of his great accomplishments! State CDE Public Spaekers  At State Convention, both Andrea Sweeney and Katherine Murphy competed for 1st place in order to progress on to Nationals. Andrea Sweeney, who competed in Public Prepared Speaking, placed 2nd, and Katherine Murphy worked very hard. Good luck next year!! Updated on 6-12-2007
